How does Auto-Refresh work in Google Sheets?
On a Base or Pro plan, enable Auto-Refresh via the CryptoTrackPro sidebar toggle. Every =cryptotrackpro() formula will automatically recalculate — every 30 minutes on Base, every 5 minutes on Pro — and on every file open. No page reload or manual trigger needed. You can also trigger a one-time refresh at any time via Extensions → CryptoTrackPro → Refresh Data.
How many cryptocurrencies are supported?
CryptoTrackPro supports over 1,000 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Avalanche (AVAX), and hundreds of smaller altcoins. Cross-currency pairs are also supported — for example =cryptotrackpro("ETH-EUR") or =cryptotrackpro("SOL-BTC").
Why are prices showing "—" after I install the add-on?
This is normal on first use. Google Sheets needs to initialise the custom function after the add-on is installed. Simply go to Extensions → CryptoTrackPro → Refresh Data to trigger the first price fetch. Prices will load immediately and the formula will work normally from that point forward.
What is the difference between the Free, Base, and Pro plans?
Free — 50 price refreshes per day, manual refresh only. Historical price lookup included. Great for casual tracking.
Base ($3.99/mo) — 500 refreshes per day, auto-refresh every 30 min + on open, RSI, MACD & OHLCV history, 150+ quote currencies, and historical price lookup for tax/cost-basis.
Pro ($11.99/mo) — Unlimited refreshes, no daily cap, auto-refresh every 5 min + on open, plus everything in Base. Built for power users and large portfolios.
Can I get technical indicators like RSI and MACD in Google Sheets?
Yes. Base and Pro plan users can use the built-in indicator formulas directly in any cell:
