What is the formula to get crypto prices in Google Sheets?
The formula is =cryptotrackpro("BTC-USD"). Type it into any cell to get the live Bitcoin price in US dollars. Change the pair for any coin or currency — for example =cryptotrackpro("ETH-EUR") for Ethereum in euros, or =cryptotrackpro("SOL-USD") for Solana. No API key is required. Install and authorize the add-on, choose Extensions → CryptoTrackPro → Open CryptoTrackPro, then use Refresh All Prices to update your sheet.
Can I track stocks and commodities too?
Yes — use =cryptotrackproRWA("AAPL") for Apple, or NVDA, TSLA, SPY, QQQ, GOLD, SILVER and 700+ tokenized real-world assets (stocks, ETFs and commodities) right alongside your crypto. These are tokenized prices that track the underlying asset. See the stock and gold guides.
What makes CryptoTrackPro different from other crypto add-ons for Google Sheets?
CryptoTrackPro combines a free portfolio template, crypto and tokenized asset prices, and historical price lookup without an API key. Base and Pro add RSI, MACD and OHLCV history. How does Auto-Refresh work in Google Sheets?
On Base or Pro, enable Auto-Refresh in the CryptoTrackPro sidebar. Timed updates run every 30 minutes on Base or every 5 minutes on Pro while the spreadsheet and sidebar stay open. Closing the sidebar stops timed updates. After opening CryptoTrackPro once to connect, prices also refresh when you reopen the spreadsheet. Daily plan limits apply. For a manual update, choose Extensions → CryptoTrackPro → Refresh All Prices.
How many cryptocurrencies are supported?
CryptoTrackPro supports over 10,000 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Avalanche (AVAX), and hundreds of smaller altcoins. Cross-currency pairs are also supported — for example =cryptotrackpro("ETH-EUR") or =cryptotrackpro("SOL-BTC").
Why are prices showing "—" after I install the add-on?
First, make sure the add-on is installed and authorized. Choose Extensions → CryptoTrackPro → Open CryptoTrackPro to connect your account, then Refresh All Prices. If an error remains, check the formula and your daily usage in the sidebar, or follow the installation guide.
What is the difference between the Free, Base, and Pro plans?
Free — 50 price refreshes per day, manual refresh available. Historical price lookup included. Great for casual tracking.
Base ($3.99/mo) — 500 refreshes per day, RSI, MACD & OHLCV history, 150+ quote currencies, and auto-refresh every 30 minutes while the sidebar stays open.
Pro ($11.99/mo) — No daily price-call cap, everything in Base, and auto-refresh every 5 minutes while the sidebar stays open.

Can I get technical indicators like RSI and MACD in Google Sheets?
Yes. Base and Pro plan users can use the built-in indicator formulas directly in any cell:
